DESCRIPTION / SCOPE
The IBV's Human Shapes laboratory is responsible for the improvement, calibration and maintenance of measuring instruments that allow the recording of human shapes, their movements and anthropometric dimensions. We also define protocols for the use of these instruments for individual measurements or for large field studies of diverse populations. It is made up of full body, foot and head scanners, and a system for capturing and analyzing movements automatically and in real time.
